My Holiday Wish List

I haven’t been updating this blog much recently because much amazing things have been happening in my private life. Besides settling in and enjoying married life, my side projects have took off. I’m like working at 200% efficiency. I’ve really busy, but it’s a good kind of feeling to be gainfully employed.
I have to be kept on my toes – preferably in an activity that engages my interest; else my idle mind would be the devil’s playground – mischief tend to be the quickest means to ground my unexpended energies.
The Internet was the best medium that allowed me to channel those energies – yet there were its pitfall; there’s always the danger of ending up as a troll. I’ve been through that phase…and perhaps its a necessary evil of experiencing the ’state of Asura’ (修羅場) before reincarnation into a being of higher order. Forums are usually the best place to receive the baptism of fire – via flame warfare. But that’s a rather destructive outlet, and you efforts could be better spent.
This blog is a positive demonstration on how to channel those energies. In a meaningful and beneficial way, this blog opened the doors into the animation, comics and games industry.
Well, if you need a quick tip on how to get started as an ‘anime blogger’ (or to be better at what you are already doing), Danny Choo will be in Singapore to conduct a workshop on blogging, courtesy of Animax.
